Tom Rath is a visual storyteller. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photojournalism from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Born and raised in Bozeman, Montana, Tom was inspired from a young age by the vast Western landscapes that surrounded him. Capturing space and place is at the heart of Tom’s photographic process, and his images explore the contradictions of America and the complex relationships between geography, history, and culture. After graduating in the Spring of 2026, Tom plans to move to Boston, Massachusetts to work as a freelance photographer.
